These goals serve as a global blueprint for peace and prosperity, urging businesses and nations alike to work together to end poverty, protect the planet,
and promote equality. As part of our long-term commitment, we are also looking to join the UN Global Compact, a strategic initiative to align our business
operations with universal principles on human rights, labour, the environment, and anti-corruption.
Ally Fashion’s Responsible Supply Chain
Our commitment to sustainability starts with our supply chain. We believe in building strong, long-lasting relationships with our suppliers, many of whom we’ve worked with for years.
To ensure our products are made responsibly, our factories are regularly audited to meet both UK and international standards, in alignment with the SDG goals. This helps us ensure that
every garment we produce is made with care, not just for the environment, but for the people who craft them.
Ethical Sourcing and Code of Conduct
We care deeply about where and how our products are made. Our commitment extends beyond quality; it’s about creating fashion in a way that respects human rights and provides safe, fair working conditions.
We collaborate with experienced suppliers and international audit organisations to make sure that everyone involved in making our garments works in a secure environment and is paid fairly.
Transparency in Our Processes
We value transparency. That’s why we maintain full visibility over our factories and fabric mills, which are located in China, India, Portugal, Italy, Turkey, and Morocco.
These facilities are audited annually—or more frequently, if needed—to ensure they adhere to our high standards. Our commitment to responsible production extends to every step of the process,
from dye houses to laundries, ensuring ethical practices across the board.
Sustainable Packaging and Materials
Ally Fashion is also committed to reducing our environmental footprint through sustainable packaging. We actively participate in efforts to design eco-friendly packaging,
aiming to increase recycling rates and minimise waste. Our focus on sustainability extends to our materials, with a preference for fibres that are recycled, responsibly sourced, or regenerative.
Our SDG Commitments
We have integrated the SDG framework into our sustainability efforts, focusing on the following four goals:
1. End Poverty: Ensuring fair wages across our supply chain.
6. Water and Sanitation: Improving water stewardship in our production processes.
12. Sustainable Consumption & Production: Using eco-friendly materials and promoting recycling.
15. Biodiversity & Forest Preservation: Working on projects that protect natural habitats and animal welfare.
Goal 1: Ending Poverty
We believe in creating positive change, and this starts with fair wages. At Ally Fashion, we ensure that 100% of our Tier 1 manufacturers provide living wages, supporting workers to meet their basic needs.
Goal 6: Water Stewardship
For the last three years, we’ve implemented a water stewardship programme, covering 80% of our wet-processing facilities. These facilities follow strict guidelines to manage and conserve water throughout production, helping to minimise our environmental impact.
Goal 12: Sustainable Consumption & Production
We are committed to responsible sourcing through our Preferred Fibre Program, which prioritises the use of recycled, renewable, and responsibly sourced materials. We also work with textile recyclers to ensure that any excess products are repurposed, reducing waste and promoting circular fashion.
Goal 15: Protecting Biodiversity
Our dedication to sustainability includes ensuring the ethical sourcing of animal-based materials. We have a strict Animal Welfare Policy that covers fur, leather, feathers, and other animal-derived materials. We never use real fur or angora in our collections, and our leathers are sourced as by-products from other industries. We ensure all feathers and down are RDS certified, and we do not support animal testing in any form.
